The mission of this project is to deliver to the world a new vision in winemaking, through the unique style of each wine, that starts its journey from the winery’s own vineyards spread on over 120 hectares in the Stefan Voda wine region.

Wine region

The unique composition of soil, the prevalence of sun during the day around the year and the proximity to the Nistru river, contribute to a unique climate for the evolution of vines.

On 120 hectares of vineyards, a diversity of grape varietals were planted, including international (Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc) and local ( Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Neagra).

The favorable location of the vineyards in the Stefan Voda wine region, allows to produce wines with individuality and unique characteristics.

White wine

The grapes are harvested manually in the period of late August to the second decade of September.

After destemming and crushing, the cryomaceration technique is applied, which turn allows the extraction of flavor driven substances found in the grape skins.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature of 14 ° С – 16 ° С, while also keeping on a fine layer of yeast for at least 3 months.

The whole vinification process occurs in a controlled temperature environment, so that the wines become well – balanced and express the wide spectrum of typical and authentic aromas and flavors.

Red wine

The grapes are harvested manually in the period of first decade of September to late October.

The classical vinification is applied to the red grapes. Following the crushing, the must and grape skins are kept together for the maceration – fermentation process, exclusively on native yeasts.

The process is carried out in stainless steel tanks by following two distinctive winemaking techniques: remontage & rack and return , followed by the malolactic fermentation and selective maturation in French oak barrels for 6 months.

The whole vinification process is meticulously supervised, which in turn delivers authentic flavorful wines, with the right amount of tannins and overall expressiveness.
